After the Quakes Information and Discussion Session Reports

Introduction

Ann Thornton, a long-time resident of Diamond Harbour proposed the idea of a seminar series to provide an opportunity for the local community to consider reconstruction issues for Christchurch, and closer to home, Lyttelton and the communities on our side of the harbour. Ann wishes to thank the Diamond Harbour Community Association for their sponsorship; and her co-organiser, Joy McLeod, especially, for her skilled and generous assistance as well as the Diamond Harbour Herald, the Historical Association, the postal system people and many others in the community.

The purpose of this page is to provide a record of the series. In some cases, this will be from notes taken during a talk and in others, it will be a summary provided by the speaker, or possibly a more comprehensive paper, covering additional material. Questions, answers and comments from the audience are also included.
