There is 
a strong possibility that access to town will be threatened in the days ahead with heavy snow falls forecast for Thursday and Friday.
Do you have enough food supplies to tied you over this period? If you are having to use your car, it is advisable to take an emergency getaway bag with you, at the very least some extra warm clothing, a blanket. Ensure you have a first aid kit in the car at all times. It might pay to top the car with fuel too.
Do you have an emergency plan in place?
