Beware of Scammers in Diamond Harbour
Over the last few weeks some elderly residents have again been the target of scammers offering to do gardening, trimming etc - doing a poor job, demanding an exorbitant price above that quoted and behaving in an intimidating manner.
They are described as 2 men (sometimes accompanied by a woman) possibly Polynesian and seen travelling in a dark coloured vehicle.
If they come to your house do not let them in. Anyone with any further information about them is asked to contact the Police on 363 7400 or DH Neighbourhood Support on 329 3032.
Please pass this warning on to your neighbours.
